CAREGIVER HELP

Caring for Someone at Home Can Be a Lot

Mississippi offers caregiver support programs and respite services that may provide temporary relief for people caring for an older adult or adult with disabilities.

Respite care can give a caregiver time to rest, attend appointments, handle personal needs or simply take a break.

Elderly & Disabled Waiver

Mississippi Medicaid's Elderly and Disabled Waiver provides home and community-based services for eligible people who would otherwise require nursing-facility-level care.
