Don't Miss the Enhanced Homestead Exemption

Qualified Mississippi homeowners who are at least 65 years old may receive a larger homestead property-tax exemption.

Eligible homeowners age 65+ are exempt from property taxes on the first $7,500 of assessed value of their homestead.

Homestead exemption applications are accepted by your county Tax Assessor from January 1 through April 1.
